Meridian is six people in a former print works on Ash Street. We work almost entirely in timber, on sites where something is already standing, and we would rather repair a building than replace it.
We take four projects a year. That is not scarcity marketing — it is the number two principals can be on site for weekly without the work suffering, and we have not found a way to make it five.
How a project runs
Two to four weeks. Survey, zoning, and an honest answer about whether the building you want fits the site and the budget you have.
Six to ten weeks. Plans, massing, and material studies, reviewed together fortnightly rather than presented once at the end.
Three to six months, most of it waiting. We handle the submission and the back-and-forth with the jurisdiction.
Weekly site visits, one point of contact, and a defects review at six months and again at a year.
Recognition
We take four projects a year.
